An offer entitled " Cockpit Concept Specialist on latest military helicopters" has just opened within Airbus Helicopters on Marignane site.
You will actively contribute to the Mission of the department working on Flight Crew Centric (Human Factors) & Cockpit Design for Airbus helicopters in Engineering.
The Mission of the department consists in building the concept of an integrated cockpit for civil & military helicopters and to certify it. Concerning this offer, the activities (related to Cockpit Operations, Crew Interface and Avionics Functions topics) will focus on major upgrades on military helicopters.

**Your challenges**:
You will contribute to the following main activities:
- participate to HMI Working Groups (with flight test and customers)
- contribute to the general cockpit concept document (general cockpit philosophy and the intended functions of the helicopters from the flight crew’s perspective). a specific focus will be given to Head Up/Head Worn Functions & associated equipment
- support the cockpit physical definition (geometry and layout) derived from the general concept
- contribute in assessing HMI ergonomic criteria and the cockpit compliance with the intended functions
- contribute to the associated Project Management Tasks (quotation, deliverables tracking in collaboration with Project organizations, Risks & Opportunities management under our Métier perimeter, lessons Learnt & associated proposals definition & escalation)
**Your profile**:
Educated to 5 years’ degree level Aeronautics
Engineering / Systems Engineering experience
Essential is a global understanding of Aeronautics
A global understanding of the overall helicopter operations in its environment & within the Cockpit is recommended
A knowledge of the operational regulations applicable to helicopters would be a plus
Cockpit Design, Human factors / Ergonomics is a plus
Flying an aircraft is a plus
Language: Fluent in English & French. Knowledge of other European Languages (German) would be an advantage
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
