Job
Description:
As an Associate –
Customer Service – Work At Home, you will be responsible for providing
comprehensive accounting support to FTP clients. This will involve producing
accurate financial statements and collaborating closely with transaction
processing staff on finance and accounting matters. Key responsibilities
include:
1.
Defining
Sutherland's Reputation:
○
Take the lead in establishing and
maintaining Sutherland's reputation through exemplary accounting practices.
2.
Ensuring
Accuracy:
○
Collaborate with the accounting
team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and
statements.
○
Analyze income statement accounts,
reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, and identify any issues while
providing recommendations.
3.
Handling
Up-to-Date Information:
○
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and
yearly schedules for management personnel, external auditors, and SEC
reporting.
○
Contribute to the preparation of
monthly journal entries.
4.
Strengthening
Relationships:
○
Work closely with business units
to develop division budgets and maintain accurate records in the financial
system.
○
Collaborate with the Manager,
peers, and staff to foster a customer-centered work environment.
5.
Being
Analytical and Creative:
○
Implement mechanisms to measure
customer satisfaction and work with the Manager and staff to enhance overall
levels of customer service.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates
should meet the following qualifications:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in a
related field from a four-year college or university, or have an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
●
Proficiency in various software
applications programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with
financial systems is also required.
●
Solid understanding of fundamental
accounting concepts and the ability to apply that knowledge effectively.
●
Knowledge and experience in
applying generally accepted accounting principles.
●
Strong customer service
orientation demonstrated through previous relevant roles.
●
Ability to build and manage
relationships with employees and staff within the organization.
●
Demonstrated analytical skills for
reviewing financial data and generating reports and statements that meet
company standards.
●
Proactive approach to take
ownership of business unit accounting work, enabling financial analysts to
focus on providing financial support to the business.
●
Preference for working in a service-oriented
environment where continuous improvement of business processes is expected.
