We are currently looking for an Accountant for a company active in the technology industry and located in the Flemish Region.

At the moment the accountancy and administrative tasks are handled by the same person but due to the rapid growth and success of the structure, the administrative parts are starting to become too important to be managed by one person. The aim of this function would be to hand-over the entire responsibility of the accountancy management to a person that will become the key contact over any financial matters while playing an important role in the optimization and improvement of internal accounting processes. The ambitions of our client is to integrate a more senior and hands-on profile to accompany the rapid-expansion of the business and perhaps to build a stronger financial team overtime. At some point, you’ll may have the opportunity to become a Manager and to play a key role in the selection of your future financial collaborators.

**Function**:

- Closing and VAT declarations
- Reporting and audit
- Monthly P&L and financial statements preparation
- Invoices booking and preparation of payments
- Monthly billing and follow-up of invoices
- Payroll
- Reconciliations

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- You have a good written communication in Dutch, English, French
- You are independent and autonomous. You have the resources and knowledge to handle accountancy all by yourself
