We have an exciting opportunity for a **full-time Producer** to join our **Sydney** News team, working specifically on our late-night news offering, The Latest.

Reporting to the **Executive Producer, **you will be responsible for producing news stories to a high broadcast standard whilst utilising creativity and an original approach. This will involve assisting in crafting bulletins, chasing interviews and writing news stories.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Previous experience in a producing role in a radio or television newsroom
- Exposure to working within a control room environment
- Be able to formulate a news rundown
- A solid understanding of media law and ethics

This role involves an evening shift, however occasional extra shifts and weekend work may be required.

**You are**:

- An enthusiastic self-starter, with excellent research and writing skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to think clearly and act quickly under pressure.
- Passionate about television journalism
- Team player that can work effectively and professionally as part of a team
