The Position

In this role, you will engage in detailed development of robotics and automation solutions from understanding of the customers’ needs, insights mapping, technical requirement specifications, to the development and testing of prototypes with the goal of bringing business impact by driving operational excellence.

The main tasks will be to: Generate innovative ideas to meet user requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications. Develop functional prototypes from initial concepts and conduct rigorous testing to ensure their functionality, usability, and quality. Translate project requirements into clear instructions, specifications, and documentation. Monitor progress of deployed products and write user manuals for operators in an understandable, user-friendly manner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as end-users, project managers, and leaders, to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.

The workplace is currently Måløv, but from September 2024 it would be Høje Taastrup.

You will also engage with external suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth integration of their services and products into our solutions. The position is anchored in the Technology Innovation department within Emerging Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing approach by creating fully automatized, data driven and continuous processes. With the rapid advancement within digitalization and automation, we are expanding our department and bringing new competencies and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, using the latest technology to maximize the value of the future manufacturing processes with significant business impact.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have: A strong technical background, preferably within robotics and automation, mechatronic or relevant experience. University Degree within STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics) - preferably MSc. Level 1-3 years of work experience within Robotics and/ or Advanced Automation. Proven experience with Robotics and Automation tools (e.g., PLC programming, 3D printing, CAD, collaborative robots, mechatronics) Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Bonus points Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology Work experience in pharma/ biotech or highly regulated industry
