Abbott is recruiting a Business Controller for a temporary contract to be based in Helsinki, Finland.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze and comment on Revenue/OPEX/Margin/Headcount reports and Market share for Nordic and Baltic management
• Prepare analysis requested by the North European office
• Support in putting together business cases
• Support the monthly closing process
• Actively develop follow-up reports which support the business
• Prepare budgets (Latest Best Estimates, LBE), outlooks and business plans based on assumptions developed by management
• Challenge local management regarding LBEs, outlooks and business plans
• Actively propose efficiencies in the processes for LBEs, outlooks and business plans
• Update budget systems and run reports from Business Intelligence systems
• Act in ethical and morally justified way and take no action to compromise within the laws of Nordics and Baltics or Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) of the USA
• Responsibility in complying with Health Care Professionals (HCP) internal policy and local laws

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or similar University degree in economy
• 3-5 years of experience in a Business Controller position
• Strong analytical thinking capability
• Working smoothly with Teams and in an international matrix environment
• Understand the big picture of financial management and what is most important in terms of business goals
• Fluent in English and ideally Finnish
• Very strong skills in Excel and other MS programs, software accounting packages as SAP and other IT applications such as Atlas and PULSE
• Strong teamwork
• Demonstrates the ability to prioritize
• Self-driven
