Our team has an immediate permanent opening for a Chief Scientist.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a research strategy aligned with real-time computer graphics rendering systems on the cloud.
Lead and manage a team to achieve the objectives of cloud rendering and simulation.
Conduct research and analysis on the latest developments and best practices in cloud rendering and simulation.
Identify new opportunities for research and development, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and challenges in the field of cloud-native rendering and simulation.
Collaborate with other executives, stakeholders, and external partners to initiate and oversee projects.
Effectively manage and allocate research budget and resources.
Propose innovative ideas for cloud rendering and simulation architectures and algorithms for production and patent applications.
The base salary for this position ranges from $190,000 to $350,000 depending on education, experience and demonstrated expertise.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Graphics or equivalent experience.
Possess a minimum of 10 years of research and engineering experience.
Have at least 6-8 years of experience in game engine, rendering engine, or simulation engine development.
Have at least 3-5 years of experience in cloud gaming system development.
Have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing rendering or simulation algorithms adopted into related commercial applications.
Have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing real-time services running on distributed cluster systems.
