An industry leading engineering firm based in Lower Hutt, utilising the latest technology, machinery and processes. Their machine shop is equipped with the latest machinery, where you will have the opportunity to operate some of the best CNC machines within NZ

Their CNC Machine Shop is expanding rapidly, so they are looking for a number of CNC Operator Programmer Machinists to join their team, as they’ve just recently installed new machines, constantly in growth mode allowing for scope to grow within the company.

There are multiple positions available for all skill levels from CNC operators to 5 axis lathes / mills with both day & afternoon shifts available.

Operating / Programming CNC machines

Skills from basic CNC Operating up to 5 axis lathes / mills

Previous CNC machining experience

Experience with CAM (GibbsCAM) advantageous but not essential

Read, interpret and work from drawings

Maintain accuracy and product quality standards

Ability to work to tight tolerances with an eye for detail

Positive approach to continuous improvement

Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills & verbal communication skills

A good attitude, a team player and not afraid of a challenge

Work unassisted, to deadlines, producing quality workmanship

Strong verbal communication skills

Currently be living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ (including work visas)

**Salary**: Good $ rate neg with skills plus overtime

**Shift**: Day & Afternoon shifts available

**Hours**: 40 - 50 hours per week

**Location**: Lower Hutt Area
