Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a CSR Engineer position within an important Company located in Varese.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Define requirements and target ranges for Codes & Regulations requirements (DVP&R); Proactively work in order to assure that all Codes, Safety and Regulatory latest requirements are incorporated in the verification and validation plans; Identify the verification methods (physical or virtual) that will ensure the product, subsystems, components are meeting the Company and government requirements; Make submittals to Underwriters Laboratories (UL; TÜV) for their review and approval; Serve as agency liaison and provide interpretation of codes and safety requirements; Review / evaluate product designs and conduct Product Safety Audits to assure compliance with agency standards and internal CPS standards and requirements; Coaches System Integrators and engineers to develop the right test to failure, verification methods to learn about the factors influencing the design – understanding design limits; Creates test plans with SI’s, laboratory and simulation teams, overseeing execution of the test plans to support the needs of design verification and validation; Ensures visibility of gaps versus targets and issues/risks through the development and proactively supports project teams on action plans definition to close those gaps; Proactively work with V&V Strategist to ensure that the latest requirements (from regulatory roadmap) are incorporated in the verification and validation plans. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
● Educational background: - BE/B.Tech - Electrical - Electronics Engineering / Mechanical; - At least 5 years of experience in the same or similar role.
● Technical skills - Design Experience on New Project development and Cost - Quality projects; - Knowledge and/or experience in refrigeration and air treatment; - Understanding and ability to perform theoretical and practical engineering analysis; - Test to Learn/Fail and Test to Pass experimentation experience; - Opex - Trained / Certified (Six Sigma Black belt).
● Soft skills - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels within Company global organization; - Team player, flexibility in adapting to quickly changing task/project priorities.
● Language - Fluent English; - Additional language knowledge is nice to have.
