**Data Scientist**

The Data Scientist drives insights to predict and prevent quality incidents and ensures user-friendly visualization and storytelling by using latest AI technology and Machine Learning algorithms. The role also ensures accurate data management and reporting. The person holding the role is also a key contact to project partners in other departments.

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Statistics, IT, Mathematics, Bioinformatics; master’s degree preffered
- Minimum of 2 years experience in driving continuous improvement projects with a multi-functional global team
- Experience in Advanced Analytics
- Strong statistical background
- Strong user centricity
- Advanced presentation and discussion skills
- Ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks
- Passion for systems and data
- Fluent English (minimum C1 CEFR level)
**What would be your key responsibilities?**
- Identifying correlations and patterns to unlock potential for Quality improvements, risks, synergies, efficiency gains, COGS etc.
- Identifying opportunities to bring existing reporting solutions into the predictive/prescriptive era
- Ensuring user centric storytelling with data
- Ensuring sound data-based assessments of supplier risk portfolios
- Ensuring proper testing of developed algorithms
Fully understanding data sources and providing accurate reporting
- Following latest trends on advanced analytics and supporting shaping the technology roadmap
- Setting advanced data analytics standards within the team
- Working closely with Data Analysts and Data Engineers in the team
Key partner for Risk Experts within the Supplier Quality Assurance and R&D community to ensure relevance and customer focus of delivered insights
