Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director – Global Web Projects to lead our web development initiatives across our hospitality network. Based in Bangkok, your role will focus on leading a large project to redevelop our global websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies and project management, a passion for enhancing user experience, and experience in developing and integrating the latest web technologies. The ability to collaborate with and influence people on a global stage will be a key skill.

This role demands a dynamic individual capable of navigating the complex landscape of web development, user experience, ecommerce, and project management, driving initiatives that align with the strategic objectives of Minor Hotels in the digital realm. Oversee the development and implementation of strategic web projects across our 3 regions (Europe/Americas, Asia/Middle East/Africa, and Australia/New Zealand. Drive innovation in web design and functionality to deliver financial targets in line with our global web strategy. Manage a diverse team of web developers, designers, and IT professionals. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, business goals. Manage global web project budgets, timelines, and resources. Research and integrate the latest web technologies and trends. Evaluate and report on web performance and user feedback. Foster partnerships with external agencies and technology providers. Ability to manage change and navigate in a rapidly evolving international commercial environment. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Computer Science. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience Proven experience in managing large-scale, multinational web projects. Strong technical background in ecommerce, and web development, including knowledge of CMS platforms, web analytics, and data driven personalization tools. Strong commitment to omnichannel user experience Prior experience in the hotel or travel industry is highly desirable. Ability to thrive and excel in an international business environment. Proven experience working with a broad range of stakeholders. Capability in effectively managing teams. Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementations. Ability to work well under pressure. Effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
