About the Job
The Head of Late-Stage Neurodevelopment will be responsible for leading all late-stage development activities within the Neurodegeneration Disease Area, encompassing neuroinflammation. This role involves providing global leadership and direction to clinical research staff within ND and reporting to the Global Head of Development for Neuroscience.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing the Neurodegeneration Development strategy in alignment with Disease Area Strategies.
Assuring an integrated, efficient, effective, and timely implementation of the strategy.
Collaborating with CDTLs to ensure that clinical strategies are comprehensive, effective, and highly integrated.
Representing the clinical development group to the rest of the franchise and external partners.
Deciding on external presentations of clinical research data.
Qualifications
At least 15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical R&D, with a focus on late-stage development.
Proven leadership skills and experience working in a matrix-based environment.
Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
