Position: Intern, Imaging Algorithms (Tampere Handset Camera Innovation Lab)

Location: Tampere, Finland

Internship duration: 3 months + , interns looking for longer internship period and thesis workers are welcomed to apply.

Job Descriptions:

• Research, design and implement new imaging algorithms
• Stay on top of the latest imaging technologies and researching on topics relating to the latest imaging algorithms technologies and topics
• Exploring new technologies for camera image processing with AI technologies

Qualifications and detailed requirements:

• Recent PhDs Graduates OR PhD Students in signal and image processing
• Excellent knowledge on Signal & Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning
• Experience from implementing efficient algorithms for CPU and GPU.
• Understanding of imaging software and image quality
• Knowledge and interest in mobile camera development
• Preference goes to candidates who are currently engaging / have previous experience in technology cooperation projects / joint cultivation projects

Other Relevant Skills:

• Fluent in English, Fluency in Finnish / Mandarin would be an asset but not compulsory
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Energetic and a team player
• It will be great if you have photography as a hobby too
