**The Role**

ALS Water’s lab facility in Geelong South is equipped with the latest in analytical technology. This is a full-time opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our client-focused team in a Mon-Fri day-shift role.

The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical aspects of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.

**The Day to Day**
- Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples
- Performing wet chemistry
- Interpretation of results and LIMS system entry
- Completing tasks accurately, within set timeframes and to the relevant ALS Quality standard
- Organising daily work to optimise efficiency and meet turnaround requirements
- Contributing to a clean, safe and organised lab environment

- Science background
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Strong team player who can also work autonomously and with initiative
- Well-organised, task-focused with attention to detail
- A clear understanding of HSE principles and practice and commitment to safe working
