We are seeking an experienced Lead Pharmaceutical Development Manager to oversee the development of liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products for biologics. As a key member of our Process Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, developing phase-appropriate process development strategies, and aligning with local and global MSAT organizations. Key Responsibilities:
Process Development Leadership: Lead a team of Group Heads and Scientists in driving process development stages for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products (DP) of biologics.
Strategy Development: Own the establishment of a phase-appropriate DP process development strategy, ensuring alignment with local and global MSAT organizations during development and implementation.
Networking and Liaison: Optimize networking and liaison with partner units within the network to ensure strategic and technical alignment with overall Lonza strategy.
Quality and Commercial Support: Support quality and commercial functions during audits, customer visits, and program acquisition.
Requirements:
A PhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field; or equivalent experience.
Highly Experienced (10+ years) in Pharmaceutical development of Biological DP.
Leadership experience in multi-tiered teams.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German and French highly valuable.
