This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Humanities & Social Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face/online) and project supervision for youth and adult learners in the following areas:

• Eldercare
• Health & Ageing
• Longevity literacy and planning
• Care Planning

The Lecturer will lead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with the industry, institutes of higher learning & related agencies. They will also keep abreast with latest trends and developments in the areas of eldercare, handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects, supervise students during internships, and be up to date with the latest developments in the eldercare sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum development and course delivery
• Project supervision and coordination
• Collaboration with industry and higher education institutions
• Staying up-to-date with latest trends and developments in eldercare
• Administrative tasks related to teaching and projects
• Supervising students during internships

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Gerontology or equivalent
• Direct experience and keen interest in eldercare
• Experience in teaching communications related subjects and/or have IT skills will be an advantage
• An agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Project/time management and attention to detail
