**Functie**
- You continuously analyze market information, evaluate and advise on buying positions. You discuss your proposals and strategy with the Purchasing Manager and Business Unit Director and execute the needed actions.
- You communicate within the organization about the latest market trends within your categories.
- Within your own category, you identify possible vendors, negotiate and finalize corporate and/or regional contracts with vendors, communicate and implement them.
- You gain a thorough knowledge of products, markets, suppliers and price-influencers to maximize your purchase efficiency.
- You build, manage and maintain good relationships with the most important suppliers and/or strategic partners in view of optimizing the TCO.

- You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to process a lot of information & set priorities. Based on this information, you are able to develop a strategy and adapt as needed, based on the latest information.
- You are a real relationship builder which makes you the link between different internal and external stakeholders.
- You are an excellent communicator and an enthusiastic teamplayer.
- You have relevant experience in purchasing or sales, preferably in raw materials.
- You are highly flexible and result oriented.
- You have a Master background or equal by experience.
- You speak fluently English. Knowledge of other EU languages such as Dutch, French & German is an asset.
- You are willing to travel to all plants in scope, for 15 % of your time.
