Job Purpose
One Services Tooling (OST) supports our Subsea Services business around the world. OST creation has been announced in November 2023, with the primary objective to re-enforce the governance on Services tooling in terms of standards, processes and asset management. OST purpose is to increase re-use & sharing of tools, ensure tooling integrity and execute flawlessly. As part of OST implementation, we are creating a Strategic Planner role to manage and maintain the Master Schedule/Long Range Plan (LRP) for high level activities involving Services Tooling. The Master Schedule/LRP is the high-level plan defining the activity level towards our customers and contracts, and the pace of the commitment. It serves the purpose of aligning sequence and priority through the operational execution organization for all committed work in addition to providing forecast information to enable Long Range operational business planning. By looking at the activities at a high level, the Strategic Planner will be able to identifying conflicting demand as early as possible and work on mitigation actions together with the rest of the organization.
Job Description
Responsible for setting and maintaining the Master Schedule for OST related activities and needs based on the Service centers Master Schedules reflecting latest updates from ongoing operations, customer rig and vessel schedules, MMR commitments and forecast plans
Cooperate with all applicable Service Centers to keep the plan updated with latest forecast information and in accordance with the monthly Service Demand Report
Analyze demand versus supply and suggest mitigation actions as early as possible
Cooperate with the project/operation organization to keep the Master Schedule updated with latest client rig and vessel plans, client refurbishment plans, ongoing backlog status and Book-and-Turn forecast
Hold the execution and functional organization accountable to meet the overall plan
Identify demand not going through Service Centres and include this in the Master Schedule/LRP
Represent the OST in the Global Strategic Planning Network for Subsea Service
Visualize the demand plan versus supply plan for the and facilitate meetings and discussions related to mitigation actions
Point of contact from the OST for digital development related to Strategic planning
Communicate and visualize the plan to internal and external stakeholders
