The position 
In this senior role, you will spearhead the digitalisation of our manufacturing processes within Oral Finished production. Together with the Product Owner, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, and design, develop, and implement innovative and scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will also collaborate closely together with the Data Analysts in the team, pushing the Power Platform to its maximal potential. Your key effort will be to inspire on the opportunities within process automation, while knowing what is technical feasible within the Power Platform. 

As our new Power Platform Architect your main responsibilities will be to: 
• Provide technical leadership, defining the technical vision and standards. 
• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.).
• Administrate and utilize synergies between the Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric with a focus on Power BI.
• Administer and manage the Power Platform suite (environments, deployment pipelines, life cycle management, governance policies, security roles, data loss prevention, etc.). 
• Steer documentation standards and ensure solutions comply with relevant SOP’s and industry practises.
• Stay up to date with the latest enhancements in the Power Platform ecosystem and interact with similar roles across different SVP areas, to share best practices and scale solutions. 
• Show the way through hands-on development and delivery.

Qualifications 
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Master of Science (MSc) in any Science Field / Business Administration or if you have extensive prior experience within the Power Platform development field. 
• 5 + years of demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering successful solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Power Platform suit and its underlying technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Platform administration (environment management, deployment pipelines, life cycle management, governance policies, security roles, data loss prevention, etc.).
• Experience in modern software engineering, agile teamwork, DevOps techniques, programming, or scripting language.

Familiarity with compliance and security requirements for automation solutions in regulated industries, such as pharma, healthcare or finance will be an advantage.

About the department 
The position is anchored in Manufacturing Tech & Innovation within Emerging Technologies, whose key mission is to redefine our manufacturing and analytical approach by creating fully automatised, data driven, and continuous digital processes. The MT&I team currently consist of around 35 highly skilled and diverse colleagues with different scientific backgrounds, working with Manufacturing Intelligence, Process Digitalisation, Robotics, Extended Reality, and New Tech.

The Process Digitalisation unit has recently been established, currently consisting of 3 employees. With the rapid advancement within low-code platforms, data, and analytics, we are expecting to more than double in size within the next months and will continue to grow and bringing in new competences and skills. Our ambition is to be the frontier, use the latest techniques and software to draw greater insights and future predictions from the data and thus making a significant impact on how we manage the future manufacturing operation.
