Accessmed is an online platform linking suppliers and buyers in the pharmaceutical supply chain in Kenya. The vision of Accessmed is to provide access to quality and affordable medical products in Africa. Accessmed leverages technology and innovation to increase market access and lowering the cost of doing business in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The platform targets to bring on board all suppliers, chemists and hospitals in Kenya.
Accessmed is hiring pharmaceutical ecommerce sales and marketing associates with a strong understanding on the Kenyan pharmaceutical market, ecommerce, and social media marketing strategies. The associate’s key role is to sell and generate revenue for the application.
Responsibilities
· Market the Accessmed platform and solutions to pharmaceutical suppliers in Kenya including manufacturers, distributors, Local agents, wholesalers, and importers of pharmaceutical products and other Health products and technologies.
· Enrol and conduct end-user training to new clients to meet monthly subscription targets.
· Offer excellent customer system support to clients and promptly respond to customer complaints and concerns.
· Make weekly performance and progress presentations at management meetings.
· Represent Accessmed in meetings, forums, and conferences.
· Establish positive trust relationships with other stakeholders in the industry, including regulatory bodies, associations, and industry affiliates.
· Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage for the company.
· Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
· Pursue continuous learning and improvements strategies and stay up-to-date with latest development in the industry.
Requirements
· Proven over one-year work experience as a Pharmaceutical Medical Rep or medical sales in Kenya.
· Familiarity with pharmaceutical e-commerce platforms, data analytics and latest advancements in the digital marketing.
· Knowledge and extensive working experience with MS Office suites.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Degree or diploma in any relevant field.
