Do you want to be a leading part of building a better tomorrow? The Nordic region is quickly becoming a new epicentrum for industry 4.0 and sustainability within the general industry. We are now seeking a high potential person with a can-do attitude to take on the role of Sales Manager General Industry (GI) for Norway in our Nordic Customer Center. 

Your mission will be to deliver sustainable, profitable growth through unrivalled customer value as well as customer- and employee satisfaction. You will take the business in Norway to the next level by transforming our customers through our extensive portfolio of solutions for tightening applications, data collection, quality assurance and error-proofing. Also, digitalization and investments connected to sustainability, renewable energy and electrification will be key going forward.

You will lead a team of 5 people including sales, service and sales support. You will also work in close collaboration with our sales teams in Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Baltics. Together you will create and execute a business plan in line with the divisional strategy to deliver sustainable profitable growth.

The position will come with high exposure and a great potential to pursue high career ambitions over time. You will be part of the Nordic GI Management team and report to the Business Line Manager General Industry (GI).

Main tasks include:

Set and execute a business plan delivering sustainable profitable growth both financially and through employee and customer satisfaction in line with the business line strategy.

Deliver a sustainable leadership by directly leading, coaching, and developing the team towards further success. 

Lead and coach sales in the field. Much of the time should be spent in the field with sales and customers. 

Drive values-based sales, transformation and digitalization. 

Lead the sales support function in the region with a dedicated resource.

Lead and supervise the coordination of local service logistics and planning in the region with a dedicated technician.

Cross functional collaboration together with Service and other functions

Regional cooperation and coordination together with Nordic GI Management team

A value adding team member for the customer center.

The position requires extensive travelling manly in Norway but also in Nordic.

You have proven, strong leadership skills and a strong track record in value-based sales with a technology B2B focus. You have the ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial thinking. You can quickly learn new things and understand technical contexts. Good at strategic level as well as hands-on. In addition, you are outgoing, driven, structured, have strong communication skills and are a creative team player. Experience from creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is a strong merit.

Education

The person we are seeking for holds a Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering, business or similar and should have a strong interest in marketing and sales. 

Knowledge

We expect you to be fluent in Norwegian and English. Other languages, specifically Nordic are a merit.
