We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to our team, who will manage and oversee our DevOps systems and tools. Our goal is to deliver services that makes the software development and deployment go easier, faster, and more secure, and with standard structures to harmonize the way we work.

Key Accountabilities System owner for our DevOps systems and toolsLead the development and maintenance of roadmap in coordination with strategic plans, collaborating with the other Business Areas in the KONGSBERG GroupPlanning, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions. Managing configuration control and automation toolsCreate systems for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of applications. Monitoring and optimizing existing processesCollaborating with developers and operations personnel to support the development, testing and deployment of applications. Automating repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and conduct regular assessments of existing automationSupport and provide expertise to the business to ensure a functional operational setup
Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Computer Science, Technology, or a similar disciplinePractical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and understand what it takes to realize modern development platforms and processesExperience with automation tools and virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or GitLab CIRecent experience with networking and successfully engaging with stakeholders and teams across a large organization is an advantage
