Seeking an experienced Instrument and Electrical Engineer
Permanent role based in Taranaki or Wellington

Job seniority: mid-to-senior level

Responsibilities
• Provide design assistance for I&E equipment and components
• Lead preparation of quotations, technical solutions, and implementation approach
• Ensure designs are fit for purpose and completed successfully
• Consistently use engineering and design standards
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate with other regional offices
• Increase exposure to other disciplines and familiarize with relevant documents

Requirements
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a team and sub-contractors
• Broad knowledge and experience in latest technology and work methods
• Relevant tertiary qualification or industry experience
• Previous experience in relevant industries such as pharmaceutical, food, dairy, or oil and gas
• Knowledge of I&E design and P&IDs
• Stakeholder management experience in a client-facing role
• Ability to work in a team environment
