The position
This role involves staying ahead of the curve with the latest trending technologies and ensuring compliance those with regulatory requirements and expectations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the processes, meet regulatory requirements, and represent Novo Nordisk in external forums. Furthermore, you will ensure that Novo Nordisk IT Quality stays ahead of the curve with the latest trending technologies, e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI and Machine Learning (ML), Virtual- (VR), Augmented- (AR) and Extended Reality (ER), Intelligent automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Digital Twins, Data Analytics and Visualization, etc.
Your responsibility Ensure that quality requirements and expectations to the IT process(es) are in place when new technologies are developed, implemented and operated in Novo Nordisk Provide advice to stakeholders on interpretation and implementation of external and internal requirements Liaison globally with internal and external stakeholders in developing and optimising quality related processes to meet business challenges and regulatory requirements Participate in relevant industry and tech conferences and events to expand network of expert peers outside Novo Nordisk
Moreover, you will drive organizational change management activities anchored in Novo Nordisk IT Quality. We ensure the highest quality by making decisions based on regulatory requirements, business needs and patient safety. Often this means cutting complexity through simple, data-driven, robust solutions that ensure the highest possible quality.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you: Hold an academic degree in Computer Science or similar Have worked with, or at least have a strong interest for, the latest trending technologies, e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI and Machine Learning (ML), Virtual- (VR), Augmented- (AR) and Extended Reality (ER), Intelligent automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Digital Twins, Data Analytics and Visualization, etc. Have experience in handling regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical environment Have 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment Have 5+ years of experience in IT QA-related roles Have some project management experience Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
On a personal level, you are an adaptable professional with strong leadership and change management competencies, adept at problem handling in a "political" management environment. You possess excellent coaching abilities, empowering individuals to make independent decisions and be highly skilled at prioritizing incoming work, even in a demanding and fast-paced working environment. Additionally, you have a proven track record of successfully participating in multiple cross-organizational projects.
About the department
IT Quality employs 65 highly skilled and ambitious professionals in Denmark and India. We are responsible for ensuring that external and internal requirements are reflected in Novo Nordisk IT processes, and the department serves as competence centre for IT quality assurance throughout the company. Our responsibilities also include quality assurance of IT projects and systems, services and infrastructure used globally.
