About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our WatchGuard engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our main objectives, including developing robust processes using agile methodologies, ensuring high-performance and resilient software, and mentoring other engineers. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, ensuring that we are using the latest technologies and best practices to deliver high-quality software.
Software Development: Develop and maintain high-quality software using microservices architecture, containerized and serverless technologies, and various relational and NoSQL database technologies.
Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on software engineering discipline, including test-driven design, unit test code coverage, automation, and secure coding practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-managed security services.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and share your knowledge with the team.
