RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and design backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js and complementary technologies.
• Enhance application performance with an emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and minimizing latency.
• Identify and address intricate technical challenges, working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments to foster ongoing refinement of engineering methodologies.
• Execute comprehensive API documentation practices.
• Conduct and implement thorough unit testing protocols.

• Profound knowledge of backend development using NodeJS, including relevant frameworks.
• Expertise in both relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Proficient in applying various software design patterns to create scalable and maintainable backend systems.
• Mastery of Git and other version control systems, with a strong grasp of version control workflows.
• Extensive experience with and protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on complex backend issue resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS protocols.
• Understanding of Authorization/Authentication mechanisms, including OAuth2 and OIDC.
• In-depth knowledge of Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS), Cookies, and Caching systems.
• Well-versed in system design principles.
• Proficiency in unit testing.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of front-end technologies.
• Preferably familiar with cloud platforms (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
• Skilled in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.
• Strong commitment to secure coding practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Required experience with microservices architecture.
• Skillful in enhancing backend system performance.
• Competent in designing RESTful APIs and understanding API security, including API gateways.
• A degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is advantageous.
