Responsibilities of the Software Engineer:
Involvement in crafting control software for our cutting-edge video encoding and decoding solutions, focusing on the latest compression standards (VVC/AV1/HEVC).
Analysis of customer project specifications and technical details related to video compression standards.
Exploration of potential solutions, as well as the creation and integration of novel functionalities into products, spanning various software layers from the hardware interface to multimedia application environments like GStreamer, FFMPEG, etc.
Experience of the Software Engineer will include:
Programming with C++ and Python
Knowledge of Shell and Perl scripting
Advantageous: knowledge of video compression algorithms, including H.264/HEVC etc.
