**Requirements**:

- B degree in Engineering
- Postgraduate qualification preferred
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience in development

and implementation of utility scale DSM programmes
- Extensive DSM project development and implementation

experience

required, both on EE and DR projects
- Experience managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary

teams
- In-depth knowledge of power system operations, analysis and

planning
- Highly skilled in communicating at all levels of the organisation,

including executive level
- Highly skilled in works procedure and process development,

documentation and implementation
- Ability to establish long-term networks and partnerships, both

internal to the organisation and with external stakeholders
- Must be physically fit and able to conduct site visits, including

capacity to walk unaided for long distances.

Key Performance Areas
- Develop, adapt and implement latest DSM concepts and practices

including researching and keeping abreast of latest developments
- Lead development of DSM programmes including the development

of quality control and assurance systems to ensure benefit

realisation of programmes
- Develop and implement process improvement systems, including

monitoring and feedback systems to ensure effective

implementation

of best practices
- Establishment and management of stakeholder relationships to

ensure effective DSM strategy and project execution.
