About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Engineer - Technical Safety Expert to join our team at Aker Solutions ASA. As a key member of our Technical Safety Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our projects. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough risk assessments and qualitative/quantitative analyses to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Lead safety design reviews, including HAZID, Safety Assessment, and ALARP Assessment, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our safety practices.
Develop and maintain expertise in relevant Norwegian regulations and standards, and ensure that these are applied consistently across our projects.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in technical safety engineering.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality safety solutions and leading safety design reviews.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
