Danfoss Drives is looking for Summer Trainee to join our Electrification team over the summer in Vaasa or Tampere. The team is developing software and simulation models for power generation, energy storage and microgrid & grid connected applications.

  Job Responsibilities

If you take this exciting challenge to join us as our Summer Trainee in Electrification, your tasks might include: 

•    Application simulations in Matlab/Simulink, PSCAD, DIgSILENT and PSS/E environment
•    Support & development of the simulation software environment & IT tools
•    Working and finding information about relevant approvals, standards, and certificates in selected applications  Background & Skills

To be suitable for this position, you should have completed at least 2 years of M.Sc. or B.Sc. studies in an appropriate engineering science (Programming, Electrical engineering, Automation). 

We expect you to have a good command of English and at least a basic command of Finnish. Additionally, you are a team player who can take initiative and you are eager to develop your skills, professionally and personally.
