Danfoss Editron is looking for Engineer Summer Trainees to join our Motor R&D development team over the summer in Lappeenranta. Open positions concern the fields of mechanical engineering or electromagnetic engineering.

  Job Responsibilities

 

If you take this exciting challenge to join us as our Summer Trainee in Motor Development, your tasks might include:  

 

  • Design and modelling of the product and parts with modern 3D design tools 
  • Produce and revise mechanical drawings/design documents of the products and parts 
  • Inspect and calculate/simulate mechanical/electrical structures and systems 
  • Participate product and prototype testing 
  • Support production and manufacturing in design issues 
  • Develop calculation/simulation methods or tools  


  Background & Skills

 

For you to rock in this position, you should have completed at least 3 years of M.Sc. or B.Sc. studies in an appropriate engineering science (Mechanical engineering or similar). Passion for electrical machines and drives is an asset and makes it easier to join our team. We expect you to have a good command of English and at least a basic command of Finnish. Additionally, you are a team player who can take initiative and you are eager to develop your skills, professionally and personally.
