We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at DACHSER SE. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for leading a team during the late shift, implementing and optimizing processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead a team of warehouse staff during the late shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize warehouse processes, reducing costs and improving productivity.
Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to new team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
Personnel Deployment: Plan and coordinate the deployment of personnel to ensure that the warehouse is adequately staffed during peak periods.
Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory is accurately tracked and managed, minimizing stock discrepancies and losses.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all goods are handled and stored in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
Education: Completed vocational training, preferably in a logistics or warehouse management field.
Experience: Relevant work experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with experience in handling forklift trucks.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Qualifications: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
