**Job Summary**

Our mission at Style Theory is to build a sustainable model for fashion consumption. We rely on the latest and best technology to build apps and services to ensure the women of Style Theory an intimate relationship with their “infinite wardrobe”. We are also constantly improving the experience of our platform through a series of iterations because we constantly listen to the feedback from the women of Style Theory, as well as ideas that we brainstormed to help achieve our mission above. As a Web Engineer in Style Theory, you will build and support highly-available, high-performance web sites that will allow us to support our subscribers and allow us to experiment with new models that help achieve a sustainable fashion consumption.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Work in Scrum software development process to develop and maintain external and internal websites using latest web technologies
- Work closely with our product managers, designers and other software developers to improve Style Theory experience for Web platform
- Work with open source software tools and third party libraries

**_ Requirements_**
- Have professional experience on working with a production website
- Excellent understanding of software development principles
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience working with NodeJS ecosystem
- Experience working with one or more of the current popular frontend web libraries: ReactJS, AngularJS or Vue
- Experience with front-end patterns (state management, server side rendering, etc.)
- Quick learner with a problem-solving ability
- Get things done with can do attitude
- Proficient in written and spoken English

- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with Webpack setup or other bundler tools
- General understanding of UI design principles and best practices
- Good understanding of SEO principles
